Simply Divine

Picture a citrus orchard or lavender field bursting with garden roses and foliage, and you have the starting point for a dreamy spring or summer wedding. Whatever your theme, a pastel palette will never date. And this oh so stunning styled shoot, with its perfect peachy, mint and blush pink hues embraces a modern and romantic look that’s also very classic. Rustic, earthy and extremely pretty. The striking floral displays comprise “Coral Charm” peonies, roses, mint, David Austin roses, wax flower, spray roses, sweet peas senecio foliage and alchemilla mollis to create a beautiful blowsy feel. Adorn your tables with the large headed blooms to complement the chintzy collection of floral china and water colored inspired stationery. Lace table clothes add an extra layer of detail, and we love hoe the fresh peonies are perfectly mirrored by the stationery they rest on. Wooden furnishing will offset the pestle pallet and you could even bring the indoors out, with the right details “We nestled a blushed covered velvet sofa in the lavender field for sunset portraits” Adds Tina of project wedding. Real weddings
Wishing on a star artistic duo Ayse and Fred tied the knot in a whimsical wedding is stunning provence, France.

The atmosphere

We hosted a relaxed and whimsical day, which included subtle touches to represent our personalities and style. We have firm roots in France, and choose to marry in a privet hamlet filled with curiosities which complemented our love of art. Our venue was remote, a secret garden of hidden nooks and crannies with beautiful views over the Luberon valley. The muted color pallet complimented the natural surrounds and comprised a mix of blush pink, olive green, light blue, silver and white. The celebration took place under the stars, a motif which ran throughout the day.

The look
I wore two dresses: my ceremony dress was a 1920s vintage lace gown with a drop waist and calf length skirt. If fitted perfectly, which is rare for a vintage find. It was also sheer, so invested in a set “Our venue was a secret garden of hidden nooks and crannies, with beautiful views over the valley” of nude strainers lingerie to underneath.
